Suzie Curran

Suzie Curran

With over 20 years of experience in the events industry, I have successfully project-managed events across various sectors, including corporate, agency, public policy, and charity. I bring exceptional program and logistics management skills, coupled with a strong foundation in communication and marketing. My adaptability allows me to thrive in any working environment, and I have a proven track record of effectively liaising with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Recent Projects

Recent Project Management include; the Childhood Trust’s 10th Anniversary Celebration, an evening featuring films, poetry and a fantastic musical performance, celebrating the work of the Childhood Trust, Youth Futures Foundation’s Connected Futures, an in-person conference bringing together practitioners and policymakers and The 4th Commonwealth Youth Work Conference on behalf of the National Youth Agency. A complex hybrid event in partnership with the Commonwealth Secretariat bringing together participants from across the Commonwealth in person and online.

In addition to individual project management, I also work with agencies as a producer on large scale international events. Most recently I provided services as Head of Digital Signage at Cisco Live 2024 in Amsterdam, where my responsibilities included the stratigeic deployment and management of digital signage across a multi-space venue, ensuring clear and effective wayfinding for attendees.

I have also served as Content Producer at Envestnet Elevate, held across the USA from 2022 to the present. In this role, I coordinate the breakout session agenda, managing over 50 sessions across three days. My responsibilities include meticulous planning and organisation to ensure a diverse and engaging lineup, tailored to meet the needs of our attendees.

Before setting up my own consultancy, I held the position of Head of External Affairs at Demos; an independent think tank specialising in UK public policy. At Demos I had responsibility for leading and delivering the think tank’s events and media strategy. This role involved complex, multi-stream project management, working to tight deadlines and achieving best outcomes.
